London Eye

The London Eye, located on the banks of the Thames, is a massive, 136 meter (442 feet) high observation wheel holding thirty-two glass-walled capsules.  London Eye has become an instant landmark in London and provides wonderful views over central London. The wheel doesn’t normally stop to take on the passengers since the rotation rate is quite slow to enable the passengers to walk off and on the moving capsules. It is one of the most popular paid tourist attractions in the UK, frequented by more than 3.5 million passengers yearly.
