London Stadium (Olympic Stadium)
London Stadium is the new name of the Olympic Stadium which is located in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. The stadium hosted the opening and closing of 2012 Olympics and Paralympic Games as well as hosting the athletics events. Located about 10 km to the east of London the stadium is the new home of West Ham United who play in the Premier League.
The London stadium now hosts a wide range of sporting events and concerts with the capacity at approx 60,000 for football and 80,000 for music events. The size of this venue makes it a great opportunity to catch a Premier League game while in London as some of the other stadiums are boutique, making it harder to get tickets.
The ArcelorMittal Orbit observation tower and slide is next door to the stadium and a great place for the family to visit.
