About Stansted Airport

London Stansted Airport (STN) is located approximately 60 km to the North-East of London in Essex and is London’s third busiest airport. This airport is used by many of the low cost airlines flying into Europe and the Mediterranean with Ryan Air having a large operational base there. Australians will generally only use Stansted if they are connecting via Europe otherwise they will usually use Heathrow.
